Main Lobster Boat Building Plans.

Some shell commands

I came across a wireless mouse with USB plug and thought I'd use it with my laptop.
  • Now, inserting the usb mouse, the system sees the memory stick, but in fact, that any Windows user would expect, is not the case, ie the mouse does not work.
  • So, first of all check whether the modules are already loaded with the tail command launched as root:
  • tail-f / var / log / messeges
  • result:
  • cucco Aug 22 13:15:47 kernel: hub. c: new USB device 00:03.2-2, assigned address 3 Aug 22 13:15:47
  • cucco kernel: input0: HOLTEK Wireless Mouse on USB4: 3.0
  • This makes me think that slack recognizes the mouse, well, I just have to run (again as root) the command:
  • mouseconfig.

  • and select USB mouse.
