Auto power on Numlock
Serverin in a house that I use to safeguard important data, nothing special.
The problem was that, being run by remote and physically I mailed in a place not exactly comfortable, at times, I forgot to turn it off with the result that the server was (and consumers) all night to no avail.
To help in these cases, it can be crontab, the crontab command allows the scheduling of commands or scripts, that you register with the system so that they are then sent running in a given period.
For detailed explanation, see this link:
http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crontab That means at 23.50 every day shut down.
course, the user must enable the execution of init (or shutdown or halt your choice).
good rest;)
